Uploading Files to Weebly Without Using a File Element

Let’s say you want to upload a document, video, or HTML file to be embedded in your website, but you don’t want the user to be able to download the file or see a file download element for it. You can upload files through the custom theme editor and they will be considered as part of your website’s “theme”. They can then be accessed via permalinks. To do so, go to the Design tab and press “Edit HTML/CSS”. Then in the sidebar, select “Add new file(s)” and upload your files.

Now, to access your files, simply use the permalink:
